چکیده

Aim: In this study, it was aimed to investigate the effects of demodicosis on oxidative stress in dogs.
Materials and Methods: The material study is based a total 32 dogs, 21 which are diagnosed with 11 healthy, different ages, genders breeds. Examination for diagnostic evaluation demodex performed by examining samples under microscope taken trichogram deep skin scraping methods. order evaluate dogs at pre post treatment groups control group without diagnosis, values SOD (Superoxide dismutase), GPX (Glutation Peroxidase), GSH (Glutation) as antioxidant MDA (Malondialdehyde) oxidant investigated.
Results ?: clinical examinations, manifestations such alopecia, erythema, generalized pruritus, hyperpigmentation, lichenification, pododermatitis, interdigital lymphadenopathy observed stages. analyzes stress, 20.30 nmol/ml, 4.9 GPx 0.42 U/l, 4.1 U/l measured demodicosis. At stage, average same 6.08 8.11 0.83 6.67 whilst they were 4.94 9.73 0.97 7.20 U/l. It obtained that, GSH, significantly higher (p˂0.001) value lower than group.
Conslusion: demodicosis, compared post-treatment, level GSA, antioxidants showed that caused stress.
